Who needs Peppol now
Belgium: required since 2026
Since 1 January 2026, Belgian VAT-registered companies have to send and receive structured e-invoices for sales to other Belgian companies. Peppol is the standard route.
The Netherlands: asked for more often
Government bodies already receive invoices over Peppol, and larger companies increasingly ask their suppliers for the same, so a PDF by email is no longer always accepted.
The rest of the EU: on its way
Under the EU's VAT in the Digital Age rules, e-invoicing becomes the norm for B2B sales between EU countries from 2030. Several countries have their own deadlines before that.

The EU VAT number is checked against VIES, and Dutch companies can be filled in from the KvK register.

Amounts, VAT and customer details come from the order, so nothing is typed twice.

It goes out over Peppol
Straight to your customer's accounting system, with the delivery status on the invoice. Customers who are not on Peppol get it by email.

- Yes. Teamdock connects to your existing WooCommerce shop on its own hosting. The invoices are made and sent from your workspace.
- What does it cost?
- Peppol e-invoicing is part of every plan, from €149 a month excluding VAT, and the first 14 days are free.
- Can I still send PDF invoices?
- Yes. Customers who cannot receive Peppol invoices get the invoice by email from the same order.
- I don't sell online. Is this for me too?
- Yes. Companies that sell by quote or by phone enter the order in Teamdock and invoice it the same way, without a web shop.
