Security and privacy
Your company gets its own server space, not a row in someone else's database.
Teamdock holds your orders, customers and conversations, so how it is built matters. This is what we do to keep that data yours.
A private workspace per company
Its own container and its own database. Another customer's problem can't reach your data.
Built to GDPR standards
Designed under Europe's strict privacy rules, which protects your customers wherever they are.
Backed up every night
Daily database backups, kept for 14 days.
Hosted in Germany
In Hetzner data centres in Germany, with a data processing agreement available.
Local admin built in
E-invoicing over Peppol, EU VAT checks and Dutch company-registry lookups, for companies across Europe.
Your domain, your brand
Run the back office on admin.yourcompany.com and the shop on your own domain.
How your workspace is isolated
Every Teamdock workspace runs in its own Docker container with its own dedicated database. Your data never touches another tenant's infrastructure, also not at the database layer.
- Dedicated container per workspace
- Dedicated MariaDB database per team
- EU-hosted exclusively on Hetzner (Germany)
- Data Processing Agreement (DPA) available
- Zero cross-tenant data access, by architecture
Data processing agreement
Teamdock processes your customers' data on your behalf. Our data processing agreement sets out what we process, where, and which sub-processors are involved.
Where your data lives
- 01
Your team
Signs in over HTTPS at yourcompany.teamdock.ai or your own domain.
- 02
Teamdock edge
Checks the certificate and routes the request. Stores none of your business data.
- 03
Your workspace
Its own app container and its own database. No other customer shares it.
- 04
Nightly backup
A copy of the database every night, kept for 14 days.
Your workspace and its backups run on Hetzner servers in Germany. AI runs on models hosted in the EU. Data leaves the EU only for email delivery logs (Resend) and for two optional AI services that stay off until you switch them on.
Who processes your data
The companies below process data for Teamdock. The binding list, with the exact data fields, is in Annex A of our data processing agreement.
| Company | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Servers and storage for every workspace and its backups | Germany (EU) |
| Resend, Inc. | Sending your workspace's emails | Sent from Ireland (EU); logs and metadata in the USA, under Standard Contractual Clauses |
| mijn.host B.V. | Backup route for your emails if Resend is unavailable | Netherlands (EU) |
| Stripe, Inc. | Your Teamdock subscription payments. Card details never reach Teamdock. | USA, under Standard Contractual Clauses |
| Mistral AI SAS | AI features, on EU-hosted models through your workspace's own gateway | France (EU) |
| Anthropic Ireland, Limited | The website design chat, and a stand-in for product texts. Only if you switch Claude on in your workspace. | Outside the EEA, including the USA, under Standard Contractual Clauses |
| TypeSafe AI, Inc. (Jev) | Sorting incoming tickets. Only if you switch Jev on in your workspace. | USA, under Standard Contractual Clauses |
Before customer data goes to an AI model, Teamdock replaces names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, addresses and similar details with placeholders, and puts the real values back inside your workspace. This is pseudonymisation: it reduces what a provider sees, but free text can still contain something the detection misses. Claude receives your shop design and what you type in the design chat, or a product's own details for a product text; never customer or order data. Jev receives only the pseudonymised text of an incoming ticket.
